Microgenomics take part in XVI° SIGU Congress

This year the Laboratory Microgenomics will participate in the XVI° edition of the National Congress SIGU, organized by the Italian Society of Human Genetics.

The Congress will be held in Rome, at the Palace Hotel Ergife, 25 to 28 September 2013.

The Italian Society of Human Genetics (SIGU), born in 1997 , in addition to mainly scientific objectives, it is proposed as a frame of reference and advice for health and scientific issues of interest regarding Human Genetics.

The SIGU develop criteria for the quality of medical genetics laboratories operating in the public and private health facilities and contributes to the development of research guidelines. Nowadays, over 1,000 medical geneticists and biologists joined the Association.

The annual Congress allows geneticists, and those who are interested in research, to meet and discuss about the most important developments in the fields of Medical Genetics and Human Genetics .
